I tried to use affinity of tone to portray how hard it can be to see the end. It's always there, but it's hard to make out from everything else.
I used the contrast of the dark tone of the red with the light tone of the white create an impression of something that has been ruined. You can decide for yourself if that's blood or not.
I tried to capture coincidence of tone by using the contrast of white and black to show the profile of the fork, though I'm not sure I quite understand what coincidence really means, so I don't know if I accomplished it.
Photo 1 - I like this idea to portray something so foreboding or necessary but within affinity, as if you are making the audience work the end and the satisfaction.
Photo 2 - That definitely feels like blood to me and the starkness is very apparent here making almost a visceral reaction. I wonder though if it will play the same in black and white instead of relying upon the color.
Photo 3 - I think you accomplished your task quite well as long as the fork is your main subject. It makes it an interesting photo because when I think of a bowl I usually associate it with a spoon so I question the story behind the fork in…
